Colourful Nightmares

Colourful Nightmares

A Poem by Askew

Yawning in class once again
Bored out of my mind
But also exhausted

I got three hours last night
Of restless beauty rest
Full of colourful visions

In my dreadful dreams
I see black and blue and purple
With hints of liquid red

Three hours every night
Of colours I can't stand to see
During the hours I spend awake
