i dont know i just wrote it.

Today many people died

Tomorrow more will

The men in war standing side by side

Fighting, protecting, and waiting for the kill

Families Pray,

Children Cry, 

Everyday because...

There worried if there loved ones are still alive

War...a horrible thing

Death haunts it

Fear grows and causes pain

Things aren't ever the same

It's true that things are never the same after a war no matter how much we want them to be. It just causes too much unnecessary pain. I loved this one. Probably one of my favorites. Breathtakingly beautiful =]

i L O V E this!
i am a huge fan of military/ war poems. Though it doesn't mean im for it, war should be stopped and i hate it, but it intrigues me what views people have on war and i loved your poem.
Though i don't agree with infection below. No, it isn't mankinds nature to fight, what purpose is it if we fight, do we fight for death? For what really.

its in mankind's nature to fight, to wage war, and to kill. animalistic traits instilled in us all.

but with time comes advancements, and within a decade or two alot more of our military will be electronic, which means less deaths. after all, a predator drone can be shot down, we can rebuild them. But you can't rebuild a man who has a wife and two kids.
