The wind and the anchorA Poem by LexiJust something I threw together real quick
You will never really know me
For I am a stranger. I will always be the first one there, But I don't like you. I am the wind beneath your wings Coaxing you to fly. I am the anchor on your ankle Trying to help you die. I am the monster under your bed Scaring you with my strings. I am the one who whispers all your faults Making you see yourself all tangled. I will hold your hair while you are throwing up All the while reminding you to get out all the calories. You can wear anything you want around me But I will always think you look atrocious. I am the one who's seen you cry, And judges your laughs. I am the one who will stab you in the back Because I know all your secrets. I Am You
