A Tale of bounteous love

A Tale of bounteous love

A Poem by Liamesq

These lines are mere spindles I weave from the fabric of my feelings for you, my dear
As one, even with the very best loom could never replicate the love, the untarnished and never-fading emotion which tries to spring forth from me to you
Held back only by this mortal barrier and contained within a box
One which beats fast when it sees you and pumps a melody I know all too well
Beauty as my determination to be a better man as I see Venus ever-present within you
But she merely crawls forth from her clam in presence of your unfailing light
And gods bow before you for they know we could be the spring and the lake, the leaf and the rake, the fields and their sow, the sun and the snow, the earth and the heavens, my emotional leaven.
