Him

Him

A Poem by Liana

His flushed cheeks matched her red skirt.

He gave her a forget me not

and it blew away with the breeze that stole her heart…

Longing to step back to that place,

She could only look back...

And be brushed by floating petals,

That once were…

                                him.

This is so beautifully written! A brilliant piece of reminescent poetry!

That was so ...thought-full. I could easily remember being a "Him" and also even wishing I was again.

A rusty window, a jagged old wine bottle, white lilies vibrating with Vivaldi and a pot I dislike filled with flowers I do… this is enough to stir the inspiration inside my waters and it pours .. more..
