Tankas I & II

Tankas I & II

A Poem by Ligeia

I. My knife through your back,
you never saw this coming.
Blood flows thick and black.
Oh my! Your death is stunning.
Night dances down from your veins.

II. Dance, dance, twist and turn,
spin and swirl, tango with me.
The leaves fall, down, down
and dance, dance, spin with my soul.
My heart sings while seasons pull.
