Just a fun summertime poem -or song if you have a guitar! :)

I wish I had the freedom
I need to touch the sky






Escape the dusty trails I walk
and muddy banks of lies





























It's only been a long road
When I'm walking it alone





The skies seems far away tonight
Because I'm on my own



 


























I wish that you could see me
For who I really am






But the only time I'll be myself
Is when I'm with you again





























Illusions only become real
When I lie awake at night





But joy comes in morning
A dream not far from sight

Damn, you must be lyricist to some music artist. Lyrics of these days hardly are beautiful. I can only remember pieces from some time back that are beautiful (You're beautiful, Lollipop, When you say nothing at all, You're my safest place to hide, Apologize, One love, Human nature.. OK, I'll stop :P).

I would go as far to compare this with all those :) (Please ask someone to put it into music, really do!). Tell me if you have it with the music :) I'd be pleased.

...I'm trying to find another synonym for beautiful that I haven't used yet; unfortunately, I cannot, so I'll use it here, too. This is...beautiful... I like it's lyricism. I feels like...hope...perhaps... A longing hope... It makes me want to attempt to delve into this place again, somewhere in love with my "somebody", and getting lost with she... I almost hate it because it reminds me of something not yet attained and still taunting me in my dreams, but this wish song has caused me to feel my heart beating. Very nice work, Lightfalls. Very nice indeed.
