Unbreakable WillA Poem by Lillian BurrowsYou collapse to your knees, Your heart feels diseased, And through everyone’s stares, You know no one cares. Eternal rain pours down, And you hide your frown, Sweet child, wipe those tears, Your salvation nears. Find your strength to stand, There’s no external hand, That will aid your rise, Or listen to your cries, Be your flame in the dark, Burn bright, find your way. Your will is a sword, make your mark Never sway. Begin your first run, Determination your propulsion, May your doubts come undone, Become your own evolution. Stand tall, stand proud, The world will drown out your voice - still Declare your conviction aloud. Child with unbreakable will. Fall once or fall twice. You’ll stand and rend, Through their hatred and ice. Don’t let it be the end. © 2025 Lillian BurrowsAuthor's Note
