Change

Change

A Poem by Lillian Burrows

To stay still is a sin,

Just cope with a grin,

It's a race you can’t win,

You’re trash in a bin.

Your heart fills with fear,

Losing things that were dear,

Whispers in your ear,

Tell you the end’s near.

There’s no status quo,

Things will come and go,

Just take it slow,

And go with the flow.

Change comes and goes but here you have a stillness that gently shines.
