Music,

It's all around us.

The bird's song up in the trees,

The whisper of the wind in the leaves.

But it's more then just the sounds of nature.

Music,

It's the laughter of children,

The bounce of the ball on the pavement,

The steady beat of running footsteps as fun is being had.

All of these things an more is,

Music,

It's there,

You just have to pause and listen for it...

Yes, I hear it all the time.

It is everywhere but most of the time, we are too busy or caught up in other things to notice that it is indeed present.

You are incredibly talented. I like how many of your poems can be short, yet they pull so much energy and lay it out so nicely for your readers.

This is a well-done poem. I like the examples. You also tell us to pause and listen for it, I love that because so many people are "in a rush" they never stop to listen, to see, to feel anything anymore.
