Lost Soul

He entraps her soul,

filling her lungs

with smoke,

drowning her mind in air

and setting her skin ablaze.

She saw the devil

in those dark brown eyes.

He stole her innocence,

manipulated and confused

her into thinking

this tragedy

was somehow

love.

Thank you. I think we as woman, or just anyone open to love in general, let the smoke in because we can put the fire out or that we can somehow make the smoke smell like flowers.
