It would have been you

Thoughts of the day

I don’t believe I’ve ever been in love.

But if there ever was a person I did love, it would have been you.

I would have chosen you in a heartbeat, in a second, in the time it takes to blink, I would have wholeheartedly chosen you. 

I would have given you the world, had I been in love. 

Unfortunately I don’t believe I’ve ever encountered something so beautiful, so delicate and yet so passionately strong, that which love is.

But if that feeling did exist, I would have felt it for you.
