A Poem about despair written many years ago when I lost someone I loved to suicide....

A woman is crying
Hot tears descend from weary eyes
A friend tries to comfort her
But still a woman cries

A woman is despairing
Convinced that no one cares
A friend tries to reassure her
But still a woman despairs

A woman is screaming
Tormented mind falling apart at the seams
A friend tries to hold her
But still a woman screams

A woman is bleeding
A cut wrist fulfills her needs
A friend tries to stem the blood
But still a woman bleeds

A woman is dying
Unanswerable to the who's and what's and why's
A friend tries her best to save her
But still a woman dies.............

An excellent piece well described.
May I point out that in my opinion the line 'Cut wrists end her manic pleads'
would read better as 'Cut wrists end her manic pleas' That is only my opinion
