How Bones Knit
A Poem by LR Young
for this useful body I am grateful,
for my joy and my solitude, my laughter,
the torrents of music and bells,
peals of good fortune or
silence and nourishment rising out
of a purely aesthetic symbiosis, the biology
of gifts and un-make-believable moments.
Like Emerson walking and gazing
over farmlands and patchwork endeavors
I see the horizon as its whole form
moving in unity beneath the sunset, all
is aglow. The shadows are but perspectives
of light and all partitions
mean neither nothing,
nor ownership nor time. I
have so many stories, so much yarn.

The body, especially when it acts like
a faithful dog, is such a gift.
We have both been taught the sight
of connectivity and for this, I am grateful,
as I am sure you are, too.
There is a lot happening between object/
shadow/ and object. Cast your eye in
the shadow space.
Om out and in,
Jack/Sanand
