The shadow of soul

The shadow of soul

A Story by Lira Noen

Imagine this: Every shadow is a living archive of soul, which is the only thing that is unscience, undeniable to the heart,
unacceptable to the mind, unmeasurable to the world.
When,
you stand under the light, what if your shadow isn’t just a flat, black shape. What if it’s an infinite portal of versions of you, which you never could have been or chose not to be.
Science dissects flesh & maps neurons but when the last cell dies,
something leaves and no formula follows it.
What if, it hides in the realm of,
Unscience?
Its only confession in the shadow.
It clings not because it needs light but it is the part of you that remembers. When you laugh, it collects the shape of your joy. When you grieve, it reflects the weight of your silence.
It can be the presence of your unseen self.
They are the fingerprints of the soul, proof that something within you can reach beyond skin & bone.
And when you leave forever, the shadow vanishes too. Not because the light leaves but because the soul has taken its final shape and the shadow is no longer needed...........
