Good bye

Good bye

A Poem by Warped Perceptions

I close my eyes and see your face
Memories I often chase
There is nothing I can do
To rid myself of love for you
Though we went our separate ways
I know we both have our days
Do you call me or should I call you
Tell me now what to do
Too lonesome to live never to die
In private no one sees me cry
The truth hurts, yes it's true
And that's what's wrong with me and you
What one wants to say the other won't hear
Especially from one so near
And so we go our separate ways
To live out the rest of our days
So good-bye old friend and fare thee well
For where we'll go none can tell
