Writer's Block

Writer's Block

A Poem by Christine

My thoughts,

Where have they gone?

My ideas,

Overcome with a yawn.

I stare dully at the page,

The cursor blinks repetitively.

Half ideas appear in my mind,

But the empty space taunts me menacingly.

Writers block.

This acurséd thing.

Obvious ideas,

My mind won't bring.

STORY. OF. MY. LIFE. I'll have all these really awesome ideas that I literally MUST elaborate on with words, and I get all excited, begin to type, and then.....fizzle. It's like everything just goes out the window, and my words are drawn from me, but not to the keys, just...somewhere else. So aggrivating. But, at least we can find inspiration in even that! This is really good, and so relatable...Keep it up :]

Oh I have been through this many times! And I have written about it too. I'm sure almost everyone on here can relate to this poem. I sure can. Great poem :)

I know my writing sure won't be as good as all the stuff on here, but I'm tired of keeping all this bottled up. This will be my release. Now I will try to keep everything I write about completely anon.. more..
