Animazement

Animazement. I went there once, two years ago with a boyfriend. It was fun, but because of miscommunication it ruined our relationship. Faye decided this year, however, that she wanted to go. I really didn't want to- it's not much of my thing anymore. But because she seemed like she really wanted to go, I gave my last 52 dollars and called it a day. I came back from the first day last night.

It was... very tiring. It didn't help that I was in the midst of my Friday fast, or that I blew out my energy earlier that day by carrying a very heavy dog food bad from the dollar tree to my house. Nor did it help that Sara came, who really didn't seem to enjoy it, It wasn't her thing either, but she couldn't quite pretend. 

Animazement was a bit of a bust in itself, however. It was a different convention center, and it wasn't that full. Not to say there weren't hundreds of us, there were, there were just more last time. And before people were much more apt to talk to you, and seemed a lot more open. But hopefully that changes today, because today is the big one. Saturday. I just hope that Faye enjoys herself... she's been having a rough time of it. Momo, her favorite dog, went missing a week ago. She jumped the fence and her puppies just walked through it and they've been gone for a week. When she talks about it her voice goes dead. 

I don't know if I can make that better, or how to begin. She loves that dog more than she loves most people. 

I found out, likewise, that she doesn't care for Sara, not at all. She doesn't even think of her as a friend. That's sort of sad, but she's spent so much time with her I can see how she feels that way. But she likes Camille, who's coming today, much to both of our suprise, and even has a costume. I'm a mage and Faye's a warrior. Camille, I have no idea, but I'm inviting both of them to the mountains.
