BSU (Behavioral Science Unit) A.K.A. Psych Ward

I was in-patient from April 29, 2014 to May 2, 2014 and this is what it was like.

White walls,
White Floors,
Heavy sand filled
Plastic tables
And chairs.

A safe place
To be.

Vitals
And medicine
At six a.m.

Back to bed
For Breakfast,
Not till eight.

Up all night
From fifteen minute
Check in’s
And noises down
The halls.

Not much to do
Besides groups,
Coloring,
Or sleeping.

Lunch,
At twelve p.m.,
Dinner,
At four-forty five.

Medicine again
At eight p.m.,
And off to
Bed again.
