Time

Time

A Poem by KLH
"

I wrote this on my first day after being moved up to full time at my job. I swear the day was never going to end. I've been working full time for almost a year now and it's not as bad anymore.

"
Tic, Tok, Tic, Tok,
Minute hand drifting apart,
Second hand steady as ever,
What a simple little endeavor.

Watching the clock tic by
the hour.
A feeling inside, a taste quite
sour.

Waiting and waiting
for the day to end,
Unfortunatly it just began.

Tic, Tok, Tic, Tok.
Eyes constantly on the clock.
Tic, Tok, Tic, Tok.
Just another bird in the flock.

I can relate to the feelings behind it....When i was a kid i used to watch the clock waiting for the study time to pass so that i could go out of my house and play.....Very thought provoking for me.....Full ratings...
Note: there is a printing mistake in the word 'minuet' which could be 'minute' i think.....
