Tricky TrinketsA Poem by Karina Longo
Your words come as a warm handshake -
But I need it casual, closer, tighter - embrace my expectations, take me higher Go deeper, be wilder. You like to blow me kisses - please don't. Wind touches me gently-like every single second of my life So praise detail and press your vanilla lips against mine - I wanna taste flavoured emotion What you give me is mere bittersweet poison. Whatever you say is argumentable, but what you do can't escape from being sheer evidence - Go on and enjoy the meaning of nothing, Trapped into memories of hatred. Love is a myth in hell, So guess where am I now. Little flames from the underground Never passion - passive conformists, the dying bland breed. Summer lovers stuck on the ground - connection for one season, loveless love for sale - You can find it at every corner. But beware, they shine like gold - All those tricky trinkets from their empty souls. © 2011 Karina LongoReviews
