Heavier than air

lies the silent dichotomy

of suicidal birth

I was hesitant to read this tonight because it is 4AM and I really should get to sleep, but I accidentally clicked and figured it was short enough to merit a review now.

My first reaction is that this poem met haiku in a back alley and told it to f**k off. I am intrigued by the concept of suicidal birth. I think that's probably a good description for how I am going to feel in a couple of hours when I wake up to go to work.

I like that it's so short; leaves little room for error and lot's of room for impact. Honestly, though the first thing I did before reviewing this was look up, "dichotomy"! :P Now that I know that, it all makes sense! :P (I'm a little slow sometimes, sorry!) I have to say though I'm very glad I read this, because I might have never known! About the poem itself; it was heavy, indeed. Those seemingly opposite things, represent our natural self destruction! Amazingly accurate and precise diction! Excellent work! :D Made me happy and sad in a matter of minutes! My new favorite! :D

There's an overwhelming power and depth conveyed in such few words. It's a talent few posses, but you seem to have mastered. Bravo.

A scary picture. Your words speak the truth. Man desire to control all things will be our end. A excellent poem.
