The Natural Course Of All ThingsA Poem by Karina LongoJust a thought.
Often scared, never really prepared
Dilated eyes, head full of daggers. Sins twist within - what a selfish burden Helpless help is all I've got to offer Turn your back to the rain - but the sun burns forever and it's no shelter Clean up your sepia memories of recent violence Everything is even scarier if seen in your coloured-mind-TV Random thoughts of success and suicide The opposite extreme always meet at the same obvious end Here we all exist, waiting to die But just a few really live, as many are already dead inside. © 2011 Karina LongoAuthor's Note
