Still BreathingA Poem by Karina Longo
If you're breathless,
You can sense the scent of wanting. When you simply breathe, You will smell the scent of Nothing. When there's a screaming void inside your soul, suffer well. All is absence - flashes of dark waving curtains drawing emptiness But when there's me and you There's that very own charming scent of two - the things a good cliche can tell. When I was younger I thought roses were the only flowers. Now I know there's so much more beauty around - it's barely scary to accept it all. Exile is the silent repulsion to Indifference (Quite ironically, I dare to say) We all know nothing but still Everybody can breathe exceptionally well - until Nothing turns to everything And then we choose to repel Breathing. © 2011 Karina LongoFeatured Review
