The Abyss

She was swallowed deep into an abyss of dark places, with dark souls and dark faces. She found shadows in all spaces and through all her broken places she could only find her strength by picking up all her broken pieces.

while dark, this poem perfectly describes the struggle of people going through depression, it feels like you fall into a pit that you cannot escape, where everyone and everything around you makes you feel sad, the only way to get out, is to pull yourself together and to move forward. This poem is easy to relate to for people who have gone through massive hardships in their life.
