Shy

Shy means you are scared of who you are,

Not all people are shy,

If we all had the same personality traits it would be a pretty boring world,

You don’t know what to expect when you first meet someone,

So never go off of first impressions.

I hate to be disagreeable but I don’t think that’s what shy means at all. Even if we are just going be the technical definition of the word that’s not really a conclusion I would jump to. Of course, I disagree with most current ways people choose to define shy. It’s always been presented to me as insecurity but I think it’s more so anxiety (particularly socially). Absolutely people shouldn’t go through life expecting everyone to be exactly like them and not being open to any differences, however. That part I very much agree with.
