Sit down and stay awhile

Sit down and stay awhile

A Poem by Lauren..

People are always busy and can’t sit down in a restaurant,

People have kids they are impatient or cranky,

Babies are easygoing because they have a pacifier that keeps them quiet,

But older children are a different story,

They bang their fists on the table and cause a scene,

Dirty looks mean time to go,

You just hope they grow out of it so you won’t have to crawl underneath the table.

Kids want what they want…
when ever and where ever they want but as parents gain mastery in child management ,
they learn to behave better.
The truth is…nobody was born with a manners play book…
we learnt comportment from home, school, people.
Learning takes time and effort from both kids and their parents…
Then the magic of sitting still happens.
I felt anxiousness in this piece.
