We can’t all be winners

We can’t all be winners

A Poem by Lauren..

Winners get prizes,
Prizes are expensive,
Many can enter but only one winner can win,
Contestants have to follow the rules or they can get disqualified,
Some people are sore losers,
People don’t like to shake hands and stomp off the stage,
But the lesson that you learn in the end is most important.

Hi Lauren!!! What a wonderful poem about winning and losing. I think the whole point of a contest is the lessons you learn in the end just like you said. It more then just competing its the process along the way. I agree if competing was more about enjoying the moment there would be less of a "loser" mentally. Being brave enough to just compete is an award in itself. Thanks for the poem!!

This is true. Not everybody can finish in 1st place.
Perhaps, though: if everyone took joy in simply taking part and giving their best, all could be winners for being there.
