People are on strict schedule when they are working,

Not enough time to get a bite to eat,

It doesn’t matter what is on the menu,

Just something to fill the hole.

Well said, Lauren. Everybody seems to be in a rush in this modern world of ours. Unfortunately, this is the result of the demands of modern society where work and earning money are prioritized over family and simplicity. However, is there an alternative given the capitalistic system we live in? You did a good job exploring a very chronic problem in our modern society with so few a word.
