Regret

Regret

A Poem by Mercury Mirrors

Hold me like you used to, when we were together.
Back when I thought this love would last forever.
That I would be with you for worse or for better.
But now all the memories have gone through the shredder.

I wish you hadn’t made me run away from you,
I wish you’d say my name again & call me ‘boo’.
I wish you’d do & say all the things you used to.

I wish there was something, anything I could do.
