Storm The Streets: Reject ParadeA Poem by Mercury MirrorsIt really isn''t very good right now but I have to save the rough rough draft quickly. And I haven't written in ages! So save the critisizm for a few okay?Let’s storm through the deserted streets. Make some noise, be far from discreet.
Let’s break some windows start a riot.
Let’s wake up this lazy city, so quiet.
Banners & streamers of black & red.
Come join the parade of the living dead.
Let’s rock the world with a party of rejects.
Lose ourselves & find ourselves in a revolution project.
Come on come outside we’ve got what you need
Let’s cut open old wounds & let the past bleed
Soak ourselves in blood & let broken hearts heal
Come join the parade, let discretion go & feel!
Scream it from the rooftops scream it in the road
We’re taking back our identities we’re taking back control.
Parents, teachers, government, well you can kiss my a*s.
We’ll make your heads explode, judgment implode & do it all with class!
We’re gonna tramp through this city A black mob growing, not so pretty It’s our own publicized freak-show We’re planting the seed of rebellion, watch it grow!
