Rain

Rain

A Poem by Katie S

Rain

Its enchanting almost graceful

As it falls from the sky as if

Angles cry with joy or sorrow from above.
It lands on its destination, Thud.

Into a pool of pure water

So pure I can see my reflection.

Little kids play in red rain boots

Splash! Into a puddle

A young man kisses his girl

Under a black umbrella

Such love, passion he drops it.

They stand soaking wet

They don’t seem to mind.

Rain is breathtaking

As well as the rainbow that lags behind.
