I am my wrost enemy.
You are my best friend,though I treat you like the monster under my bed.
As a child I believed in you but now I pay no mind.
Pleas Lord forgive me for my broken mind.
I was redeemed by your love, but when given a chance I run, no place in mind just carried by the thoughts I have inside .
Pleas Lord forgive me for my broken mind.
Brought back to life I praised you ,still while living I forsake you, giving no reason but my guilt within.
Lord why do you love me when I don't love myself.
Pleas forgive me for my broken mind for I've given up, but yet you tell me "stay strong."
I believed the Evil One but you say
"Child come and follow me."
Lord why do you love me when I don't love myself.
pleas forgive me for my broken mind.
Oh Lord pleas forgive me for my broken mind.

I really liked this! I've been looking for more Christian poetry without any luck- but voila here you are! The poem is a diamond in the rough. It has a few spelling errors and typos. Maybe you wrote it that way on purpose (then ignore me) but it might help if you break up the poem into lines so it is easier to read. I love the concept, though. And, overall, it flows really well. :)

Thank you very much after I posted I thought I should've broke it down in lines, but wouldn't know how, and as for the typos that was probably auto correct I'm on my phone and it has a mind of its own lol
