Lift Your Gaze

Lift Your Gaze

A Poem by Kaitlyn

The canvas vast, a boundless blue, The sky, a testament so true, To boundless grace and tender hand, A masterpiece across the land.

From dawn's soft blush to sunset's fire, His glory burns, a pure desire To lift our hearts and raise our eyes, To where His boundless mercy lies.

The clouds, like brushstrokes, soft and white, Dance in His orchestrating light, A symphony of shape and form, A shelter from the brewing storm.

The stars at night, a diamond dust, Across the velvet sky entrusted, To whisper tales of ancient might, And guide our souls through darkest night.

The moon, a pearl, serenely gleams, Reflecting back His holy dreams, A gentle comfort, soft and deep, While earthly worries fall asleep.

In every hue, in every ray, His goodness shines in bright array, The chirping birds, the rustling trees, The calming whisper of the breeze.

The mountains grand, the valleys low, The rivers where His blessings flow, All speak of Him, the Loving Lord, Whose beauty is forever poured.

So let us gaze upon the sky, And feel His presence drawing nigh, And thank Him for this wondrous sight, His love, His truth, His endless light.

This piece speaks unapologetically of those (often taken for granted) marvels of our loving creator, in whom is made all things.
And today, we still apply ourselves to share in His works and name those things that are truly captivating.

A lovely ode, Kaitlyn
