What does the night sky there look like?

The night sky looms above
Showing the night sky of
A city
Pollution takes
Away the stars
That makes
It seems so dark
Years ago
Where I used to call home
The stars covered
The night sky
They loomed above
With pretty light
But now
Pollution takes
Away the stars
That makes
It seem so dark

Author's Note

The poem, I guess, has two meanings. It started off as a thought about how city skies weren’t as good as country stars b/c of light pollution. When I actually wrote this poem, it was a little more metaphorical. When I was younger, the night sky was bright and filled with hopes and dreams. As I got older, those dreams and hopes started to fade. You can look at it either way.
