Set to beat the path of exodus

Marching to the drums of the new covenant

Over which you have been ordained a tenant!

We shall recall your energy while crossing the deep waters

Full of anarchy & lethargy, defying the shaky excuses of old masters

Bringing up the rear

And laying to rest every fear

Let the soil soak our streaming tears

As we head home without your vibrating gears

Guided are we by your red-penciled commandments

Anticipating snares & ailments

Knowing the journey will take us long

Trusting our oneness will keep us strong

We shall count on your budding Joshua

Astute, firm and mature

That at long last we shall remember Mount Sinai

With our guiding star there so high

We shall recount the Pharaoh’s caprice

And dwell on your matrix

We shall command time

And court history to grade prime

The feats of your rapture

As we enshrine your stature!
