YesterdayA Poem by Lola_Beefeelings in a day which passes as the day doesI’ve
been away for what feels like centuries A
mere declaration A
need for self-preservation lost
amongst everything and nothing studies,
work, motherhood and family Like
juggling barbs and thorns Ready
to feel the prick and fall to the ground
Vibrations
pulsate through my veins The
pace is too fast I
just won’t last
Most
people say it’s called highway to hell But
I just dusted myself off as I fell Stood
up and walked away Stronger
than yesterday © 2014 Lola_BeeReviews
