This makes me think of what goes through a cicada's mind as it waits to emerge. Their sad lives of more than a decade, almost two, spent in the dark under the soil, what is the purpose of a life spent like that? Waiting, waiting? AHA! Daylight! Fresh air! FREEDOM! and SEX! SEX! SEX! for three or four whole weeks and then you die!
Nature, you can have it!
