Slipping

Slipping

A Poem by Lockedheart

Lately I've been slipping
just been stumbling by
trying to break old habits
but I can't seem to leave them behind

attempting to eat healthy
go to bed by a decent time
works for a little but
I always slip back into that state of mind

where nothing matters
and in return, neither do I
so I'll spend hours in the mirror picking at my skin
and eat all the junk food in sight

weed will be my bestie again
stay in my body through day and night
maybe I'll dye my blonde hair black
and give in to the mysterious type
