A tribute to the tree called ''Flame of the Jungle' for its vibrance and beauty. Love spring.

Oh blooming Gulmohar tree!
Are you red in anger,
Or scarlet in glee?

Author's Note

Can it be called a real haiku? I actually wanted to depict the beauty of this tree I had been admiring for days. Please review.

This has 18 syllables.

The syllable pattern is 5-7-5.
There should be a seasonal reference, a cutting phrase or word.

If you remove 'in' from the second line, you can arrange it as:

" Are you angry red,
Oh blooming Gulmohar tree?
Or scarlet in glee? "
