goddess nurse

when I was in the hospital there was pretty nurse who liked me a really really a lot

there once was a goddess in the sky
she smiled at me straight in the eye
she warned me she would not be back
i did not take that as attack
she went away
and here I stay
lonely guy
clutching at the empty sky

Nurses are angels. I don't look on them as Goddesses. They are there to nurse us back to health or to help us end our days with dignity and in peace. That is a hugely difficult job to undertake. Dedication to the care of others comes to mind. They are also professional Jeff, so they aren't supposed to fall in love with their patients, but you know that don't you.? Hoping your blues lift and the sun shines for you soon :)

I know.....that would be the typical answer....they get paid well and are polite and friendly..... but this was a bit different..... she folded her arms across my bed railing...and with her face just a few inches from mine told me she would be gone for a few days....I said well the other girls will take care of me but you seem to have a special interest.... she got a big smile on her face and nodded her head up and down....something a little bit special I have been searching for ever since.....alas....life goes on....have a great day!
