I often wonder

what's it all about?

Does anybody know?

I often think about

people who have passed before us

did they get to find out?

will we?

I often ask myself, 

what's the point of it all?

I'm worried 

 that I 

 might miss it.

What's it all about Alfie. Started to think about the film, Michael Caine in the lead role, Cilla Black singing the title tune. Loved that film. What's life about? You tell me. That is a complete mystery. Was a mystery to those who are no longer here, and will remain a mystery to us. I liked your thought provoking little poem.

i thought the same as Chris...that song and movie came to mind...
but then, just the other day i was talking with a really close friend...we were talking about religion and what there is after this life...could be something and could be we are just gone...we won't know until we get there...
will we?
You raise a valid question....what is the point of it all, and is there one at all?

That's true Jacob, I have similar discussions with friends and it fascinates me! but what does 'gone' mean exactly? Doesn't 'gone' imply a new space? Don't we need somewhere to go to? So many questions! Thank you as always, I love to read your comments.
