We are so selfish 

for continually berating the rain - 

the Earth tries to survive

and all we do is complain.

we complain too much about everything, i think...
when there are droughts we complain that there is no rain.
Pretty much like everything else in life...we don't want too much of anything unless we get it ourselves...but when we get it unsolicited, we complain.

That is completely true ... this isn't isolated to the weather, I think it is human nature to complain... I just don't understand why. It isn't always necessary, but it is refreshing to be around people who don't.
