Candle Wax

A Poem by Samantha

As i pour the wax on to my hand
I wince at the Feel on the hot wax
But i keep pouring
thinking the pain will go away
like the last time
But i see it in the flame
The candel is angry
It glows like the devils death red eyes
As i go to touch the flame
I stop...
But only to watch the flame
move towards my hand
It melts my pain away
but only for so long
