Praise the Lord For...

Ok, this was an Assignment I did last year in my Old Testament course. If your not Catholic or don't believe in God, just don't read it. I don't want anyone to think I'm offending them.

 

Psalm 212
Praise the Lord For . . .
A Psalm of Lucia

1 Give praise to the Lord, our God.
2 He is my God.
He is your God.
He is our God.
3 He is the one, true God,
The only one I trust and believe in.
I
4 Give praise to the Lord, for all He has made.
5 He has made the Heavens and Earth.
6 He separated water from land.
7 He made the sun, the moon, and the stars,
Separating light from darkness.
8 As He willed it, it came to be,
And He saw that it was good.
II
9 Give praise to the Lord for each and every one of His creations.
10 All kinds of winged birds in the sky.
11 All kinds of swimming creatures in the sea.
12 All the other kinds of animals that walk this planet,
And every last plant that exists.
13 As He willed it, it came to be,
And He saw that it was good.
III
14 Give praise to the Lord for making man.
15 He made both man and women,
Equal and at the same time.
16 Praise the Lord for making us in His very own Likeness and Image.
17 Even giving us freewill, and power over all the creatures.
18 As He willed it, it came to be,
And He saw that it was good.
IV
19 Give praise to the Lord for who He is.
20 He is Love.  He is Mercy.
He is Power.  He is a Mystery.
21 Praise our wondrous God.

ooo i like this! it flows very nicely and i like how you emphasised the He is MY YOUR and OUR God part. :) and it realy shows everything He has done for us... great psalm poem thingy~
