short and sweet. Oh the wonderful power of haikus. -smile- You really got the essence of your meaning in only 17 syllables. That's not easy to do, my friend. Very nice.
I really love the last line. Thoughts really are the writer's (or anyone for that matter) friends. Where would be without thoughts?
I also really liked how you pointed out that the pen is often the catalyst for creativity. Just flows from the mind through the pen and onto paper. Very nice again. Keep up the good work! Fighting!

no it is not too short to review! i like it, and as writers we all know the feeling of having so many jumbled thoughts in our brains that we have to let them out somehow~ great write! :)
