Troublesome Soul

We all a past that has contributed to our own personal growth. The experiences that we consider are horrible events that we wish not to share with others but we know have impacted our lives forever.

Troublesome soul:

A troublesome soul am I
if you look deep into my eyes
you can almost feel the pain
it's like the rain that falls from
a cloud suddenly on a Summer day.
So sunny and bright on the outside
But, look closer come near.
That is when you see all my fine lines appear.
Like a work of art. A painting you see from a distance.
All the beautiful colors they come together from a far.
As you get closer you see some of the flaws.
I am now open to you I give you no resistance.
A troublesome soul am I
With a ton of stories I could have told.
Locked away in my heart so deep.
I keep my silence and through away the key.
Noone will ever know
My troublesome soul.

i love poems of introspection, for they reveal something of the poet, especially when one can read between the lines. i think that a good man would find your flaws to be every bit as beautiful as your attributes, yours is the heart of a poet and a lover, and i embrace your words. this is a superb piece of prose!
