R'n'B

So, first on my list is... R’n’B

Now, I don’t have a problem with people having their different tastes in music, each to their own, right? But I just don’t get the point of R’n’B, what is the concept? Nowadays it seems like everybody has to have sex whilst up in da club (which by the way is phrase that I also don’t understand, I mean, how do you have sex in the club to start with, toilets? Possibly, it isn’t as uncommon as you might think, but to expose your genitals and actually have intercourse on the dance floor isn’t that illegal? It would be especially embarrassing for my mate who tends to shout “Whoa Nelly” when he climaxes....don’t ask how I know that! And ‘up in da club’, is it possible to be down in da club? It’s a ridiculous statement which rappers or singers continue to use during their songs).

R’n’B is a genre of music which has no point, it has no meaning, it has no place in my life. Cannot stand the genre. Although, it is easier to get laid in a club when R’n’B is playing, so I suppose I must chalk up a point to them for that.

I thought "R'n'B" was rythm & blues, and I don't think you mean that. And I think "up in da club" is a concept, not literally to have sex in some knd of establishment...

I agree with Miss Evans except for the rap part. I mean, most raps do not make any sense at all. But the in likes of Eminem, his music is all about his life, which was a hard just so you know.

R&B is Rhythm and Blues. A lot of modern rap is miscategorized as R&B. Nelly, as far as I know, is not real R&B. Neither are Chris Brown (recent songs, anyway) or half of the other pop-rap artists. I think R&B has been changed (as a label) into the genre where people are mid-way between being rappers and singers.

Real R&B is sould music. Al Green, Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin, etc. It's soul music. Rap is a degrading genre, at this point. I dislike it altogether.
