Fall

Just a quick haiku that I thought was pretty ok.

leaves fall to the ground

the bitter cold cuts through deep

frost forms at my feet

I am open to any constructive criticism. When it comes to my poetry I want to be the best I possibly can be while still maintaining the uniqueness that makes my poems mine.

I like this. It has wonderful imagery and actually almost makes me feel the cold you describe. I could picture this as well. Such a good haiku. I am quite fond of haiku's, and I quite like writing them. I think it is fun trying to fit something in such a concise form. Sometimes I find that Haiku's can be quite dull, and just words put together. But when done well they are a pleasure to read. I know yours certainly was!
