Hollywood Tradegy

When you say something mean to someone you love, it is a deep regret.

I said something so mean

How can this be?

Its like a Hollywood tradegy

Now I am laying on the floor

Just like so many times before

Pain seeping all the way down to my core

 

And I scream at myself

Cause it always seems to help

But not this time

The tears are flowing freely

The pain hurting so deeply

And all I need is you

You always knew what to do

But now your gone

and I am laying here all alone

 

Why are we so mean?

Maybe it wasn't meant to be.

Its like.. Its like a Hollywood tradegy.

Dont you hate it when you can not keep your mouth shut? And you end up saying something so regretfully mean, but so does he/she? I know I do...

Yes, numerous times unfortunately.

However, I always seemed to find a little good out of it as terrible as the situations may be.

Lovely poem by the way. As the reader I was able to feel your pain and picture your words very clearly.

I really like it. It's got an underlying angst about it that's almost gently angry...more with itself than with it's object of affection. Nice complicated tone and voice.
On the line: "But now your gone"
I think it should be: "But now [you're] gone"
I only caught it because I do that all the time. ;)

This was a good poem. I thought it was very well written.
